Within Insurance Administration, insurance case officers gather relevant information where investigation is required to make decisions, implement decisions, and manually calculate and disburse compensation.

Close Leadership, Change, Sustainable Workplace

As a unit manager, you are the leader closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as responsibility for results and follow-up for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of about 20 employees working in Insurance Administration, located in Norrköping and also working remotely. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goals the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group consisting of about 13 people, where you contribute your expertise and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

  • have experience in planning your operations in collaboration with remote colleagues
  • have a good understanding of Insurance Administration within Sickness Insurance
  • have a good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission
  • have a driver's license for passenger cars.

A permanent, full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the work allows.
